THE BRIEF
In response to a real-world brief, we were tasked with creating a complete naming strategy and brand identity for a company running workshops focused on climate change and sustainability. The client, who approached the school directly, was looking for a solid visual and verbal foundation to help position his initiative with clarity and purpose.
What set this project apart was its unique angle: the workshops explored ecological issues through the lens of emotion, emphasising personal experience as a driver for change. This perspective needed to be reflected not only in the identity, but across all physical and digital brand touch points.
In teams of four, we conducted research into the sustainability space and developed creative solutions that extended well beyond a logo. Our deliverables included a range of naming proposals, a flexible visual system, and custom-designed materials for use during workshops, from printed decks to interactive tools, all designed to reinforce the emotional and participatory nature of the sessions.

Following several rounds of feedback and collaborative review across all teams, the client selected one of the logo proposals developed by our group. His decision was based on a strong alignment with the emotional tone and flexibility of our concept.
From there, we entered a refinement phase — incorporating elements he appreciated from various directions while staying true to the visual identity’s core idea. Through close dialogue and iteration, we arrived at a final design that reflected both the client’s values and the unique emotional approach of the workshops.
The result is a cohesive, adaptable identity that gives Ateliers du Vivant a distinctive and human presence, ready to support a wide range of content and workshop formats.
