THE BRIEF
As part of a school assignment, our team of four was tasked with choosing an existing brand and creating a promotional video for one of its products. We chose Ricard, a classic French aperitif known for its strong ties to summer, sunshine, and the south of France.
The challenge we set for ourselves was to completely change this seasonal image. Instead of reinforcing Ricard's connection to summer, we proposed a broader positioning: Ricard as a drink for all kinds of moments - intimate, spontaneous, celebratory - regardless of time or season.
The creative concept revolved around contrasting environments and moods, showing Ricard enjoyed in less expected settings while still capturing its signature convivial spirit. Visual storytelling and atmospheric pacing helped shift the perception without straying from the brand’s identity.
This campaign was developed collaboratively, from ideation through to filming and editing, with a shared focus on blending Ricard tradition and versatility in an engaging way.
